Every child is different. However we believe that around 5 years is a good age to start a martial art such as BJJ or Capoeira. Our kids program caters for 5 - 14 years old and focuses on making self-defence and physical education fun. We use conditioning and skill-oriented games to engage and challenge kids. The benefits go way beyond the physical. It will also teach your kids valuable life skills such as courtesy, confidence, focus, discipline, team work, mental strength, and self-control.

Depending on the nature of your injury there is a chance you can train around it. Have a chat with your professor to discuss options. Even if you have to sit out a few classes we still strongly encourage coming along to watch and learn.

What will I learn?

The primary focus of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is learning self-defence. We will teach you the fundamentals of self-defence, as well as the modern evolution of the martial art. Capoeira you will also learn self defence, acrobatics, kicks and rhythms.

What do I need to bring?

A water bottle and a small towel for drying off after the class is also a good idea.
